Firevision problem: UKFSN solution
Posted 11 January 2005, 18:05. (Filed under: Geek by Andrew)
[Update: April, after the dust has settled]
Firevision seem to be around again, but I’ve no further info about the state of the business – e.g. whether it’s in profit. Firevision are an OpenSRS reseller, so I can manage my own domains from the OpenSRS interface. OpenSRS is a part of Tucows.
For my more recent domain purchases, I’ve found a new reseller, Pteron net services and I can recommend their friendly and efficient service.
[Update] Five hours and thirty-eight minutes later, UKFSN (Linux Consultants Ltd) have us back up and running. Not bad, eh? Much credit to Jason for the very swift solution.
The rest is up to me. Time to get my email-redirecting finger out…
Firevision were a company that provided domain registration services, email forwarding and web forwarding for kember.net and darkembers.com (and many more that I don’t own!).
They have been in liquidation since mid-November.
