Corny comparison

Tonight, I’ve done a taste comparison between Doritos lightly salted Tortilla chips and Asda’s own-brand tortilla chips. We were about to buy the Doritos – £1.08 for 200g, when we saw the Asda ones next door, costing a measly nineteen pence for 100g.
For those who sat at the back of the class in Maths, that’s just over one third of the price of the Doritos.
The Asda chips were slightly thicker than the Doritos, and fractionally saltier. Our verdict was that the thickness was an asset, and the saltiness was so negligible as to be unimportant (this from somebody who never adds salt to his cooking).
So, the score stands at Asda – one; Frito-Lay – nill.
